The Haldibari-Chilahati rail link is a railway connection between India and Bangladesh, which was reopened in December 2020 after being closed for more than 55 years. It connects Haldibari railway station in the Indian state of West Bengal with Chilahati railway station in northern Bangladesh, which is located in the district of Nilphamari.
The rail link is expected to boost trade and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries, and is part of a larger effort to strengthen economic ties between India and Bangladesh.
