Vivek Agnihotri refuses the Filmfare Awards in spite of nodding in 7 categories, declares «I am not alone»

Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri has rejected the forthcoming Filmfare Awards. He called the awards “unethical and anti-Movie”
Vivek Agnihotri, the director of “The Kashmir Files,” has announced on Twitter that he is refusing the upcoming Filmfare Awards, despite his movie being nominated in seven categories. He criticized the awards as being “unethical and anti-cinema,” and said that they treat everyone except stars as unimportant. He argued that the awards are part of a corrupt, unethical, and sycophantic establishment of Bollywood that treats writers, directors, and crew members as inferior to or as slaves to stars. As a protest against this system, he has decided not to accept any such awards.
